As the 15th to 21st November 2021 is Alcohol Awareness Week organised by Alcohol Change UK, I wanted to support the amazing work they are doing in trying to work for a society that is free from the harm caused by alcohol.
These prints are sized 10 x 8, and were taken as part of the wider Loiner project that both celebrates the life of my Father as a photographer and examines the consequences of his addiction to alcohol.
100% of profits from all prints will be donated to Alcohol Change UK. More can be read about the charity and their aims here.
"We are not anti-alcohol; we are for alcohol change. We are for a future in which people drink as a conscious choice, not a default; where the issues which lead to alcohol problems – like poverty, mental health issues, homelessness – are addressed; where those of us who drink too much, and our loved ones, have access to high-quality support whenever we need it, without shame or stigma."
Photographs will be printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag and delivered by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
